Welcome to OPSU

Thank you for your interest in Oklahoma Panhandle State University. We are happy that you have chosen to apply for admission to OPSU. The online application requires you to create an account and complete the application.

Please be aware that once you submit this application you should contact our office at (580) 349-1372 if there are any changes.

Freshman applicants must submit the following:
  1. The online application. When you have completed the application, click the SUBMIT button on the left column of the application screen.
  2. An official high school transcript, including transcripts from colleges from which courses were taken while enrolled in high school.
  3. If your high school transcript does not show your ACT/SAT scores, you must provide an official ACT or SAT score report. Applicants who have never taken the test and have been out of high school for more than three years must contact the Office of Admissions (580) 349-1372 for further instructions.


Transfer applicants must submit the following:
  1. The online application. When you have completed the application, click the SUBMIT button on the left column of the application screen.
  2. Official transcripts from each postsecondary institution attended. Including evidence of degree earned.
  3. An official high school transcript. (Not required for transfer applicants who have earned 24 or more semester hours of transferable college-level credit at the time of application.)
  4. If your high school transcript does not show your ACT/SAT scores, you must provide an official ACT or SAT score report. Transfer application who have earned 24 or more semester hours of transferable credit are not required to submit ACT/SAT scores.


International applicants: Please do not complete this online application. You will need to download and complete the appropriate information packet to submit to the International Office of Admissions. PDF Click here to download information packet.

Document retention: All documents submitted to Oklahoma Panhandle State University for admissions purposes become property of the university. Documents will not be released to students nor will they be forwarded to other educational institutions or agencies.

Instructions

To complete this online application, type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from the popup lists (where applicable).

After you complete a screen, click the NEXT button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be reentered prior to submittal.
