Application Information

A message from the campus:

Congratulations! You are about to take your first steps to becoming an official Cowboy. We are very excited that you have decided to join the OSU family. This application is your application for admission to the university and also your application for scholarships.

 

If you have already completed an application to Oklahoma State University, and would like to revise it or add additional items, please do not submit another application through this site. You will need to submit additional information to our office via fax, email or mail. Please include your name and date of birth on all materials. Please send revisions or attachments to:

For first time applicants, you will also need to submit:

 

Freshman:

-         Official high school transcript showing GPA and class rank

-         ACT or SAT scores

-         $40 application fee which can be paid online

 

Transfer students:

-         Transcripts from each college or university previously attended

-         $40 application fee which can be paid online

-         If you are transferring with less than 24 credit hours, freshman materials must also be submitted.

Our easy-to-use online application is for four types of students: individuals beginning college for the first time, transfer students, international students and those who seek readmission to OSU. You can log in to the application via the link below, but you might want to read the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's) below first.

When can I apply?

After completing your junior year of high school or several months before the term you would like to begin your studies at OSU.

Do I have to complete the application in one sitting?

No. You have the option to save your application and complete it at a later time.

How long will it take me?

Average time for completing the application for admission is 20 minutes.

What else do I need to do?

Students will need to submit the following to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions:
  • This online undergraduate application
  • A nonrefundable $40 (U.S. resident)/$75 (international applicant) application fee
  • Official transcripts: from all your previous institutions attended.
  • Test scores: Results of the SAT or ACT administrations must be submitted by all applicants with fewer than 24 transferable credits. If these results are not reported on the high school transcript, they must be reported by either the SAT College Board or the ACT American College Testing Program.

Instructions

To complete this online application, type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from the popup lists (where applicable).

After you complete a screen, click the NEXT button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be reentered prior to submittal.

Once you have completed the application, click the SUBMIT button located on the left column to submit the application.
