Oklahoma National Guard Educational Assistance Program

The Oklahoma National Guard Educational Assistance Program provides financial assistance for higher education to eligible members of the Oklahoma National Guard. This program was established by the Oklahoma Legislature in 2022.

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must:

  • Be an active member of the Oklahoma National Guard in good standing
  • Have a high school diploma or GED
  • Be admitted to and enrolled in an Oklahoma public college or university

To keep the scholarship, you must:

  • Maintain good academic standing at your institution
  • Maintain satisfactory participation in the National Guard
  • Maintain a 2.0 GPA

Benefits

  • Covers resident tuition, mandatory fees, and academic service fees
  • Limited to 18 credit hours per semester
  • Undergraduate programs: up to 120 hours or a bachelor's degree
  • Graduate programs: up to 40 hours or a master's degree

How to Apply

Complete an application through the Educational Service Office of the Military Department by:

  • January 31st for Spring semesters
  • August 31st for Fall semesters

The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education administer the funding for this program.
